• The Romance Linguistics Seminar, a meeting of British and overseas Romance linguists, which meets in early January in Cambridge (organized by Chris Pountain).
• The British Conference on Judeo-Spanish Studies, an international meeting of Judeo-Spanish scholars (organized by Hilary Pomeroy; Ralph Penny and Chris Pountain are members of the organizing committee).
