Multimedia Language Resource Centre
The Multimedia Language Resource Centre is a modern, multi-media language learning facility, designed to provide a technology-enhanced learning environment for the Language Centre within the School of Languages, Linguistics and Film.
The M.L.R.C. comprises three large and two small multimedia digital labs for language teaching and self-access language learning. Each room is equipped with powerful teacher and student workstations running the AVIDAnet® Tenjin multimedia laboratory software. Each room is also equipped with a SMARTBoard™ interactive whiteboard to provide media-enhanced teaching and learning. In addition to this each workstation is fitted with TV software for viewing live international satellite television broadcasts.
