Jordi Larios's research interests are in the areas of twentieth-century Catalan and Spanish poetry, and twentieth-century Catalan and Spanish narrative, with special reference to the work of writers who came to the fore in the 1920s and 1930s. He has just finished a monograph on Llorenç Villalonga. He has translated into Catalan a number of works by English and American writers.
