Areas of specialisation
My research interests focus on Early Modern European History and more precisely on the reigns of Elizabeth I of England and Henry III and Henry IV of France.
Background
I am a graduate of the Université of Provence, Aix-Marseille I, France. I have a Licence (BA equivalent) in English Language, Literature and Civilisation (LLCE Anglais) and a Maîtrise/Master 1 (MA equivalent) in English LLCE specialised in Early Modern English History. I spent my Maîtrise (2008-2009) at the University of Liverpool as an exchange student where I wrote a dissertation entitled Birth of an English National Identity under Elizabeth I. I completed my Masters in 2010 at the Université of Provence. I focused on the specificities of Elizabeth I's queenship through her speeches, letters and prayers. I'm currently a PhD student at University College London working on the rhetoric of monarchy, a comparison between France and England (1565-1603).
