Current Research Projects:

delete: Establishment, commentary and publication of the poetry (published and unpublished) of Tatiana L'vovna Shchepkina-Kupernik (1874-1952), using archival material in St Petersburg, Moscow and Western Europe. (For this project a British academy grant of £3865 was awarded in 1999.)

delete: A Short Georgian-English Dictionary. Georgian, with Armenian one of the two important literary and state languages in Transcaucasia, presents peculiar problems for bilingual dictionaries. This dictionary will represent a shorter one-volume version of the 2000-page Georgian-English Dictionary published in July 2006.
