Study Placements offer you an opportunity to study at a university in the target country. You have two options:
- ERASMUS + Scheme: You can choose one of our partner ERASMUS + institutions in Germany, France, Spain and Portugal. All students regardless of nationality or fee status are eligible to participate in the ERASMUS + scheme. If you decide to do an ERASMUS + study placement, you will receive a small ERASMUS grant.
- Independent Study Placement: this option is for those who wish to study at any other university within the European Union that we do not have an ERASMUS + agreement with or wish to study at a university outside the European Union. If you wish to pursue this option, you will have to apply to the institution independently; SLLF can not do this on your behalf. We can, however, provide documents to support your application if this is required. You must discuss your choice with the relevant Year Abroad Co-ordinator.
